Sana’s philosophy is rooted in creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions, uncover the root causes of their struggles, and develop effective coping strategies. She holds the belief that growth and healing unfold when individuals embrace their unique stories and challenges with compassion and curiosity. Her tailored therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based modalities such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
Sana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BA), a Master’s degree in Health Psychology (MA), and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (M.Ed). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) in Human Psychology to further expand her expertise and enrich her clinical practice.
Through her work at Sukoon Psychotherapy, Sana is committed to helping patients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they navigate personal growth, whatever that may look like for individuals. Whether working with individuals, families, or groups, she honors each client’s unique journey with respect and compassion. Sana is dedicated to walking beside her clients, offering support, encouragement, and a steadfast belief in their capacity to heal and thrive.
Outside of her professional work, Sana is also a talented photographer who enjoys capturing life’s precious moments. In her free time, she finds joy in documenting special memories, as well as spending quality time with her family and friends.
