Bismat Nasir, MBA, MA, LPC
Bismat “Bisma” is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio, holding a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. With compassion and dedication, she is committed to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges, focusing on fostering self-empowerment and personal growth.
Bisma's approach to working with couples is grounded in a Family Systems perspective, recognizing the significant impact that each partner's family history and previous experiences often have on one's behaviors, emotions, and reactions within the romantic relationship. She collaborates with couples to strengthen their connections, enhance communication, and address unresolved issues within a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Additionally, she has a strong passion for assisting adolescents and adults, particularly women, in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Bisma utilizes a blend of evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, and parts work. These methods help clients build emotional resilience and find clarity on their journey toward healing and self-discovery.

Outside of her professional work, Bisma values quality time with her husband and two children. Family time holds great importance to her, and she cherishes moments spent cooking, reading, playing with her kids, and watching the latest shows and movies with her husband. She is also a cat lover and a coffee enthusiast, finding peace and comfort in life's simple pleasures.
